Frankly My Dear, i don’t give a damn
Although I rarely photograph weddings, I particularly love a few keepsake photos from each and every one. They’re special to me because they reveal something much deeper.
Leading the bride and groom to their next portrait location, I found Meg, one of the bridesmaids, outside the wedding venue enjoying a smoke break.
There was something so freeing in her expressions in the combination of her chic outfit, clearly owning her spotlight in front of the camera.
As an ambivert who tends to shy away from attention (yet still craving affirmation) I find myself revisiting this short sequence of photos time and time again, wishing to emulate Meg’s freedom in this moment.
